Singapore Airshow 2026: Celebrating Two Decades of Innovation in Aerospace and Defence

Singapore, Dec. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Mark your calendars! The Singapore Airshow, renowned as one of the world’s premier aerospace and defence exhibitions, is set to return from February 3 – 8, 2026, at the iconic Changi Exhibition Centre. Celebrating its 10th edition, this biennial event has been at the forefront of defining the future of flight since its inception in 2008.

A Platform for Global Engagement

Over the years, the Singapore Airshow has evolved into a critical gateway to the Asia Pacific’s dynamic aerospace and defence markets. The upcoming edition promises to be no different, with more than 1,000 companies from over 50 countries participating. Esteemed exhibitors such as Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Rolls-Royce will return, alongside innovative newcomers like Helsing and Shield AI, showcasing the latest advancements in defence technology.

National pavilions from countries including Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, and the United States will enhance the event’s diversity. Notably, an expanded presence from the Italian Trade Agency Pavilion and the China Pavilion will highlight the international scope of the Airshow.

A Milestone of Growth and Collaboration

“Reaching our 10th edition is a significant milestone for the Singapore Airshow,” said Mr. Leck Chet Lam, Managing Director of Experia Events. “This Airshow has not only adapted alongside the industry but has also served as a key global meeting platform for stakeholders. In 2026, we’re excited to expand our horizons with new features reflecting the industry’s transformation.”

Introducing Space Summit 2026

In a groundbreaking move, the Singapore Airshow 2026 will also include Space Summit 2026, taking place on February 2 – 3 at Marina Bay Sands. Endorsed by Singapore’s Office for Space Technology & Industry, this summit marks a pivotal expansion as the show embraces the frontiers of space. With a theme of “New Frontiers: Shaping a Responsible and Inclusive Space Future,” global policymakers, space agencies, and investors will gather to discuss sustainability and investment in the space economy—predicted to reach US$1.8 trillion by 2035.

Sustainability at the Forefront

Sustainability remains a cornerstone of the Singapore Airshow’s vision. The 2026 edition will spotlight sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and net-zero initiatives aiming for decarbonisation in aviation. Neste, a leader in renewable fuels, joins as the Sustainable Aviation Partner, promoting discussions on SAF adoption. Attendees will also have the opportunity to offset their travel-related emissions through the innovative CarbonClick counter, reaffirming the Airshow’s commitment to responsible travel.

Fostering Innovation and Emerging Technologies

At the heart of the event lies an unwavering commitment to innovation. The What’s Next startup showcase will return, focusing on emerging technologies across aerospace and defence. New exhibition zones will shine a spotlight on digital aviation and sustainable propulsion, fostering connections between established industry players and burgeoning startups.

Networking and Collaboration Opportunities

Beyond the exhibitions, the Airshow serves as a vital networking hub. The AeroForum will feature discussions on pressing industry priorities, including market outlooks, cybersecurity, and workforce transformation. Coupled with an AI-driven AeroConnect matchmaking platform, participants can seamlessly connect with relevant opportunities.

Weekend@Airshow: A Family-Friendly Experience

The excitement doesn’t stop there! The beloved mascots Captain Leo and Leonette will welcome families during Weekend@Airshow on February 7 – 8, 2026. With interactive activities and thrilling aerial performances, this event promises to bring the thrill of aviation to life, ensuring a memorable experience for attendees of all ages. Tickets will be available from December 10, 2025, priced at SGD 39 for adults and SGD 19 for children.

Enhancing Attendee Experience

Experia Hospitality Services (EHS) will enhance the attendee experience by providing a range of curated hospitality solutions. From airport transfers to dining reservations, EHS aims to streamline the visitor journey, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

Changi Aviation Summit 2026

Coinciding with the Airshow, the Changi Aviation Summit 2026 will convene senior government officials and industry leaders to tackle challenges in civil aviation. This year’s summit will explore opportunities for growth and competitiveness, addressing the evolving needs of the sector as passenger traffic reaches new heights.
