As reported by Kramatorsk City Military Administration

On January 3, Kramatorsk faced a harrowing day marked by a series of drone attacks conducted by Russian forces. The Molniya-2 drones targeted residential areas, inflicting damage on apartment buildings and resulting in injuries to local civilians. This troubling news comes directly from the reports of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration.

Details of the Attacks

According to the military authorities, Kramatorsk was struck three times throughout the day. Each incident was a reminder of the ongoing conflict and its impact on everyday life in Ukraine.

First Strike

The first drone strike occurred at 10:40 AM, targeting a multi-storey building in one of Kramatorsk’s districts. The aftermath left residents in shock as the sound of the explosion filled the air, marking a stark and unwelcome start to the day.

Second Strike

At 11:40 AM, the situation escalated further. A Molniya-2 drone struck an apartment building located in the central part of the city. This attack resulted in injuries to a woman born in 1982, illustrating the indiscriminate nature of such assaults. Emergency services were quickly mobilized to provide immediate assistance.

Third Strike

The final assault of the day took place at 2:40 PM, when Russian troops launched another drone strike near a high-rise building. Fortunately, this attack did not result in any reported injuries, but it raised alarms among residents and local authorities alike regarding the ongoing threats to safety.

Response and Recovery Efforts

In the wake of the attacks, local authorities have been urging residents to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities. The situation is being closely monitored by relevant specialists tasked with ensuring public safety. Cleanup operations have commenced to assess the damage and support affected residents. Teams are actively working to clear debris and restore some normalcy in the impacted areas.

Community Impact

Such incidents serve as a poignant reminder of the realities faced by civilians in conflict zones. The psychological toll on residents, combined with ongoing threats to their physical safety, underscores the need for continued attention to their plight. Community support initiatives are likely to emerge in response to these attacks, encouraging solidarity among residents to reinforce resilience against further incidents.
