Shaping the Future of Defense and Safety in Europe

Overview of exhibition halls and booths at DEFCROS fair

In a world facing increasingly complex threats—from sophisticated cyberattacks to hybrid warfare—DEFCROS has emerged as a key international defense and safety expo. This rapidly growing event has become an essential platform for professionals from military, police, special forces, the private sector, and cyber security. Combining the latest advancements in defense technology with the needs of practitioners, DEFCROS stands out as a transformative initiative for Europe’s security landscape.

As the first expo of its kind in South-East Europe, DEFCROS offers a dynamic environment where new technologies meet the people who develop, implement, and lead them. The concept originated from the pressing need for a focused and effective forum that deviates from larger, less specialized commercial expos. While global events may cover a broad range of topics and sectors, DEFCROS laser-focuses on actionable solutions, addressing challenges in weapons and platforms, naval systems, infrastructure protection, demining, emergency response, cyber defense, and artificial intelligence.

A Regional Hub for Innovation and Collaboration

The inaugural edition, held in Osijek in 2024, welcomed over 10,000 visitors and delegates from 15 countries. It featured conferences, panel discussions, and productive B2B meetings, showcasing a rich tapestry of expertise. The event’s goal is clear: to foster the exchange of knowledge, strengthen professional networks, and open new business opportunities in a sector critical for national and international security.

Croatia, an EU and NATO member situated at the crossroads of Europe, offers a unique backdrop for this event. Beyond merely showcasing innovation, DEFCROS encourages strategic dialogue, live demonstrations, and partnerships that enhance defense capabilities and address the evolving security landscape. Set against Croatia’s vibrant history and geographic significance, DEFCROS embodies a fusion of tradition and modernity, essential for advancing Europe’s defense initiatives.

The upcoming DEFCROS 2026, scheduled for the stunning coastal city of Šibenik from October 1–2, promises to raise the bar even higher. With an expanded roster of exhibitors and enhanced programming, the event will provide unmatched networking opportunities amid Šibenik’s rich history and vibrant Adriatic energy, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
